Could I get a fannie loan with a 580 credit score?

Thanks for the question. Most lenders and banks have a min. 620 credit score. There are other loan programs you can qualify for to purchase a home. Please give me a call to discuss. I haven't heard of any conventional loans below 620 middle score. FHA may have some options, but they are difficult to qualify for and you will have mortgage insurance, even with 20% down. My advice would be to consult a local lender about where your credit is now and where it needs to be. They may be able to offer advice and/or provide you with the information for a credit repair specialist.
