You do not have to be active military to qualify for a VA home loan. If you would like to speak to me about the VA loan benefits and qualification you can reach me at 720-489-5845 X206. I look forward to speaking with you. Thank you, -Emily Brown

I MUST DISAGREE ( I usually don't do this :)) YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE ACTIVE MILITARY TO QUALIFY FOR A VA LOAN. I am an FHA/VA expert and you would need a COE (Certificate of Eligibility). This shows what branch of the military you served and what is your benefit amount. You could be active or retired (veteran). Please send me an email so that I may qualify you correctly. We are National Direct Lenders and can get you pre-approved within a few hours. www.Mortgage-FHA-Rates.com

OK, maybe I read the question incorrectly, I though it was asking if active duty could get a VA loan and missed the "only" part. Obviously a VETERAN can get a VA loan, with the definition of "veteran" being self explanatory. I stand corrected and will learn to read better.
