Closing a loan without tax transcripts, is it possible?

I am closing a loan in 2 days and found out that my lender needs tax transcripts. Unfortunately, my tax transcripts are not available. Is it possible to close the loan without them? My IRS returns for 2019 and 2020 were mailed and received 6 months ago. by nichoj62 from Columbia City, Oregon. Jun 1st 2022 Reply

Depends on your income, the loan type and the lender. If you're self employed/1099 or you have rental income, tax returns are required. In order to validate your tax returns, a lender must pull transcripts. What type of loan is it, FHA, VA, USDA or conventional?| John Burke | Senior Mortgage Banker | Lending in ALL 50 states |Stride Bank | jburke@stridebank.com | (877)228-9069 | NMLS# 787231 |

They should only be looking for 2021 & 2022. 2023's are not required yet. You mentioned 2019 & 2020, however 21 & 22 is most likely what they want.
