1ST time home buyer question

Hey there - I have a general question. I'm wondering if there are certain times of the year that are better to purchase your first house, than others? Thank you! by xkizin.tang109 from Lakewood, California. Jan 2nd 2020 Reply

There is no perfect time to purchase - it really depends on your situation and what works best for you. The Summer is peak season, so houses do tend to be more competitive because people want to be in a home before school starts.

The Peak time for buyer's, Any time of the year especially when it is slowing down during the end of the year. Summer time is peak time for sellers.

Hi, there really is not specific time better. It really comes down to when you are ready. Can be busier during the summer time as then families can move with minimal disruption to kids in school. Feel free to contact me for a no obligation consult. I am nearby in Long Beach....562.254.5616

It depends due to a couple of factors. Too many to consider, however once you have a mortgage payment that works for your budget then make the move. It's better to pay down your own loan than one for someone else.
