If you have an FHA or VA loan, go by the way of streamline. Quick and easy (easier process than an initial loan). You can refinance a conventional loan with acceptable income etc. Best Advice - Find a local loan professional with a good reputation for client service in Mathasville, MO to help you with the process. Go local to meet them face-to-face so you can get all of your questions answered in a personal/professional manner. All the best, Scott. see link of yellowpages for locals. http://www.yellowpages.com/marthasville-mo/mortgage-companies also, see the attached link. Yes.. FHA, VA, USDA and conventional all allow you to refinance with only 5% equity.. Each of these loans have different guidelines so it's best to meet with a local qualified mortgage expert and let them look at your complete loan profile... I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
