It depends on many variables such as the loan type and/or how the loan is setup. If you would discuss your loan scenario, I can advise you specifically. Contact me at chad@mortgagewithchad.net.

In order for your spouse's income to be considered in qualify, she would need to also apply along with you. Her credit will be taken into consideration as well as her income and any assets she might hold as sole and separate. The rule of thumb is, if you wish include all that is good, then you need to include the bad as well. So if your spouse has bad credit but good income, you cant only include the income.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. It depends. You do not have to use your spouse's income to get a loan if you qualify for one on your own. However, you spouse's income can help you qualify for a larger loan amount in many cases. If you are planning on using your spouse's income, then they will also have to qualify for the loan based on their credit score, employment history, etc. Ask a lender to offer a quote based on your income alone and based on your combined income to see what the best option is for you.

Yes if they are on the loan application with you. They will also look at spouse's credit as well.
