The minimum age is 18, but you would need to have established credit, which is impossible since you have to be 18 to apply for credit on your own.. HI - as the other lenders have said, you have to be 18. But, lenders will require you to have established credit for over 12 month AND either a 2 year work history or a new job in the same field as you studied while going to college for 2-4 years. So realistically you need to be about 20 and meet the loan guidelines.
