Prospective landlord thinking about renting out our property or selling

We own a primary home that we want to keep and rent out. Do we need to refinance our current home to buy another? We live in Georgia and we want to move to an area with more families and kids in the neighborhood. The new property is less than 50 miles from our current home. This is our first time being a landlord and we are trying to decide if we should keep and rent or sell. by pjacklam185 from Ambrose, Georgia. May 16th 2022 Reply

It really depends on what type of loan (ie: FHA, VA USDA or conventional) you have on your current home and which type of loan you qualify for on the new home. | John Burke | Senior Mortgage Banker | Lending in ALL 50 states |Stride Bank | jburke@stridebank.com | (877)228-9069 | NMLS# 787231 |
