My bf is backing out of being a co-signer

So my bf and I were buying our first place. We broke up after we've been approved. I can still afford it with my income and I can replace his portion of the downpayment but my credit is bad. What do I do now? by epeeist319 from Crescent Lake, Oregon. Apr 6th 2021 Reply

You would need to be re-approved with only you on the loan...there are ways to improve your credit and I have helped hundreds of people with that. Let me know if you would like to get the process started. All the best!Lea Snyder503-577-3895NMLS3236

Loans are approved based on the lowest score of all borrowers, so it is probably OK credit wise. Just tell your Loan Officer. He will removed the other person and continue on. Same with telling your Real Estate Agent... I've seen this situation many times over the last two plus decades. I lend in MN WI IA SD ND.
