I'm not sure what an "Aid in Lieu" is.. but if you are referring to a "deed in lieu of foreclosure", then the timelines are as follows.. For FHA it's 3 years, for Conventional it's 4 years.. for VA (you must have VA benefits available to you) it's 2 years, but most lenders will make you wait 3.. and for USDA it's 3 years. I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / RPM Mortgage NMLS 1541014 / AZMB0121893

There are programs avialable that allow you to get a mortgage right after a deed in lieu, they require larger done payments, 15-30%.Otherwise it will be 3 years unless there are extenuating circumstances. If you have any other questions or would like help with this you are welcome to get in touch with me.

1 day out foreclosure programs with down payment based on credit score and circumstances related to delinquency. Better rates exist 3 years+ 1 day for FHA or 4 years + 1 day Fannie Mae conventional program from date deed in lieu property passes from you to buyer.
