Getting a jumbo or 80-10-10

We are looking for a jumbo loan (loan of 545,000) with 10% down (home value is 605,000). Jumbos are impossible to find with 10%, most banks want 20%. We would be open to an 80-10-10 but those are hard to find too. Does anyone deal with either of these products in Wisconsin? by Aruba7_163_398 from Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Nov 28th 2012 Reply

If your credit score is 740+, I can do that in 1 loan. 80-10-10 is possible but a pain to coordinate.

Hello, thank you for your question. I have a few different jumbo programs available and you can get into a Jumbo with 10% down assuming this will be your primary residence. All pricing is risk-based, so once your loan is entered, we compare pricing and options with the different programs we offer. I would love the opportunity to review your scenario with you and price it. In order to do that, I would need an application from you. You can reach me directly here in Madison at (608) 298-1704.

Those are tough to find for your scenario but there are apparently some who can do it...use someone local and stay away from these "we lend in all 50 states" tweakers.

I don't have any lenders doing 80/10/10.. or anything close to it.. but i understand that there are lenders out there doing them... there is a loan product specific to doctors, lawyers, and dentists, where you can finance up to $1M with zero down, but it's specific to those professions.. Otherwise, if you want the big boy home, you gotta step up... Also, just note that it makes no difference that your purchasing a home that is worth more than your paying.. lenders always price their loans and base the Loan to Value off the LOWER of the sale price or appraised value... I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

If the FHA Loan limit is high enough in your county you always try that at only have to put 3.5% down. Go to FHA.gov and do a county serach.

I have a 90% jumbo for your residence (depending on qualifications) and would also look at other options to see if they make more sense. pdumouchel@primelending.com or 843-619-6025 direct, and I do lend in WI. Would love to work with you!
