Age has nothing to do with it. Assuming your SSI is permanent, then it can be used to qualify you for a mortgage. Currently there are not any mortgage programs similar to a reverse mortgage for borrowers that are under the age of 62.

As long as your income is sufficient you will qualify for any loan progrram avaialble to anyone.
