But for a mortgage, regardless of position, the owner of the property must apply.. I would suggest you contact a LOCAL mortgage broker and apply with them. There are renovation loans that have pretty good rates and can be as easy to qualify for as any typical conventional loan. Check with a mortgage broker in your area, and by all means compare a couple different ones.
