Not that I'm a where of, reverse mortgages are backed by FHA, VA doesn't have a reverse division.

VA does not have a reverse mortgage program.. if they did, it wouldn't be much different than what FHA offers.. .. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. No there is not. Home Equity Conversion Mortgages (aka. Reverser Mortgage) are presently facilitated through HUD through the FHA Insurance Program. There is no special consideration given to veterans versus non-veterans. Everyone must qualify within the same guidelines.
