If a monthly saving would behoove your situation at the present time, and monthly relief is what you seek today.....then I would say yes. But would you make back the cost within 2 years? Absolutely.. rates 1.5% or more lower than your paying now.. Even lower if you go with a 5/1 ARM.. so there's potential to save even more..
