I'D LIKE TO KNOW IF 660 LEVEL CREDIT WILL QUALIFY US AND WHAT THE TERMS FOR REPAYMENT ARE. OUR HOME HAS BEEN PAID OFF SINCE 2011. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE RETIRED - INCOME REQUIRED? by lisahashemi4863430 from Universal City, California. Oct 31st 2014 Reply

There are presently no income or credit score requirements for the HECM product.Do not take any reverse mortgage without speaking with me as I can save you money. I just close a RM where the borrowers paid $0 in loan fees. They did not pay an origination fee, Up front Mortgage insurance, title, escrow...anything. Don't overpay for your RM.

You will be happy to know that there is no income or credit requirement for a HECM. In most cases, a line of credit is your best option, as interest is accumulated only on the amount of money that has currently been drawn against you available balance. I am a full-time reverse mortgage specialist, and would welcome the opportunity to send you complete information, specific to your situation, at no cost or obligation. You may contact me, Dave Metsker, at primefinancial@frontier.com, or by phone at 503-620-2239.

HECM's are essentially no credit qualifying type loans.. the only income requirement would be that you need to show you have sufficient income to maintain the property taxes, insurance and any other type of assessments such as association fees or dues. Try contacting a local mortgage professional who specializes in HECM's.. these loans are much different than a conventional loan product, so I wouldn't leave it up to a novice. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
