Mortgage application with old bankruptcy

I have an old bankruptcy on my credit report and it’s nearing the 10th year since discharge back in 2012. Will this fall off my credit report automatically? My current credit score is between 720 and 750 and I expect it to go up 50 points without the old bankruptcy there. I plan to apply for a loan in the coming months and I want to know if I should wait longer or just go for it? by cgarcia933 from Boulder, Colorado. Nov 17th 2021 Reply

Yes, the bankruptcy will fall off your credit report at 10 years. You are way beyond the waiting period after a bankruptcy, so you are good to go in terms of a mortgage.
