I got my start in the mortgage business in January 1997, and started Dream Home Funding in June 1998.

Most of my business comes from referrals from Realtors and past clients. Obviously, you can't run a business that depends on referrals if you don't offer excellent service to your clients, and you will receive the same great service. If you have doubts, I have no problem supplying contact info for people that have done business with me for years.

I have no employees, so you will deal directly with me from the start to the finish of your loan. I work long hours, and try to catch every call before it goes to voicemail. You can reach me from about 8:00 a.m. until around 11:00 p.m. everyday (including weekends/holidays). If you do get my voicemail, leave a message and I will probably be back to you in a matter of minutes.

Some of the lenders I am currently using have rate lock renegotiation policies you should be aware of. If rates drop after I lock your loan, I can renegotiate to the lower rate. If they increase, you get the rate you locked at, so there is minimal risk in having me lock your loan with one of those lenders.

Although my office is located in San Angelo, TX, I close loans all over Texas. Clients simply fill out a loan application on my website and fax or email a few required preapplication disclosures to me after signing and dating them. I then prequalify them, and send an email with a pdf file containing the loan application and disclosures and list of required documents. The client opens the attachment, reviews the disclosures, then signs/dates them, and emails or faxes them back to me with the other documentation. If you are organized, the entire process should take less than 30 minutes of your time. It is so quick and easy that most of my local clients never come to my office either.

You can receive rate quotes for your specific loan scenario on my website. Keep in mind that the rate quoted is not guaranteed until we lock. Rates have been volatile. There have been days that my lenders have issued 4 or more price changes in one day! If you like the quote I provided, please act quickly. If I can't honor the quote, I will happily show you the notice of price change from my lender to prove that rates did in fact change after you got your quote.
