I have been in the mortgage and real estate business for 13 years in Florida and Tennessee. I was inspired to get into the mortgage industry after seeing so many families not get the customer service they deserve while making the largest purchase of their lifetime. Being customer service oriented is second nature to me. I was previously a real estate broker which allows me to have a better understanding of the transaction and is especially useful in helping first time home buyers understand the complete home buying process. I specialize in VA Home Loans, FHA Home Loans, USDA Home Loans, First Time Home Buyer Loans and Conventional Loans with as little as 3% down.

I grew up in Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee/Knoxville with a BS degree. I am a Tennessee Volunteer and support the Wounded Warriors Project, Mission Love Seeds, St. Francis House and the PET Project. I was previously in the retail grocery industry and lived all over the United States for 25 years.

I am a Christian, a Tennessee Volunteer Fan, "Beach Bum", Braves Fan, Avid Fisherman and College Sports Fan.

Advice to Home Buyers:

Always get pre-qualified before you start shopping for a new home. I will make sure you have payments you can afford and not let a Real Estate Agent or Builder talk you into buying more than you can afford.

Most home buyers get frustrated with the amount of documentation you need to get approved for a home loan. If you are organized, it's very simple. If you aren't organized, it can be intimidating. I want to make sure you can afford the mortgage payments, and still take care of your family. My advice is to sit down for a few hours and get all of the documents together at one time. I will explain why every document is needed, and sometimes, why more documents are needed.
